For Sale: 1941 Chrysler Town & Country in Camano Island, Washington for sale in Camano Island, WA

1 of 21
Vehicle Description This 1941 Chrysler Highlander vehicle is in original condition and has not been restored.
It runs great and looks great! The odometer shows 77,674 miles.
It has been garage kept and very well taken care of.
This car is a very rare and highly desirable convertible model.
This low-slung, but roomy six-passenger, full-size, Chrysler was introduced in 1939, and by 1941, the body was wider, lower and had larger glass area front and rear, as well as a revised front grill.
The steering wheel also features no spokes in the upper half for increased driver visibility.
This dark red car has matching red leather interior seating with houndstooth plaid fabric to reflect the Highlander model.
The cloth convertible top is in excellent shape (likely replaced).
The top is power operated, which is a first in 1941.
The dash and steering wheel are a color-matched, marbled plastic-bakelite, in excellent condition.
The marble look is simply luxurious! The powertrain consists of a rugged 242 cubic inch in-line six allowing for strong, smooth performance, with 108 horsepower.
The transmission is semi-automatic fluid drive.
The fluid drive transmission makes it a pleasure to drive, like an automatic.
You just shift into gear once, and you do not need to shift again.
Accompanying the car is an original owner's manual.
This vehicle was bought originally in Texas.
In 1963, it was sold with 47,257 miles on it.
In 1966, it was sold to Earl K.
Johnson and was in Massachusetts at Classic Motorcars.
The car was in a museum for a number of years.
In 2014, it was purchased by car collector, Ron Brooks, of Texas.
I bought the car from him in 2020.
Recent medical issues force this sale.
